Welcome to Silver State Barrel and Pole Association     • Barrels       • Poles       • Breakaway             UPDATED 3/30/12:             SSBPA will be running at 2 arenas this year and the series will be a best 3 out of 9 races with a time from each arena needed in the average.  We will also allow youth (12 and under) to run the first 10 minutes of the time onlys in order to earn a ribbon.    SSBPA will be awarding division saddles for barrels and poles as well as $1,000 and a saddle for the all around 2012 winner.      Located in Reno, Nevada and established in 2005, SSBPA is a volunteer based non-profit organization that offers; Open Jackpot 4D Barrels, 3D Pole Bending and 2D Breakaway Roping. SSBPA offers amazing awards as we are a prize based club promoting positive horsemanship.  No membership is required and riders can compete in any or all of the events offered at each race. Multiple horses may be used and our jackpots offer an even payout in each division. Added money is included at each race depending on the number of entries.
